Fourteen people have been jailed for rioting after Mali's 2006 World Cup qualifier against Togo on Sunday 27 March.
The judgement, delivered by Musa Jallow in a Bamako court on Monday, found them guilty of robbery and the destruction of public property.
Fans went on a rampage through Bamako's streets, setting cars on fire and ransacking shops and hotels after the 2-1 defeat.
The loss meant that Mali are out of the race to qualify for the global tournament in Germany.
Others charged with rape and under-age offenders will be tried at a later date.
Fifa, world football's governing body, will meet on 27 April to decide on the sanctions that will be imposed on the Malian Football Federation.
One possible sanction is that they will be asked to play their next home qualifying game against Liberia behind closed doors, in addition to a financial penalty being imposed.
